Really nice trail with great views and the bottom of the flume is heavenly. but really easy to get off trail and the marker system could be much better. also there was a closure/detour that made things more confusing. only other thing too is that the smell is definitely a bit of a buzzkill despite how beautiful the bottom of the gorge is

If you want to do some bouldering, this is the trail for you! Had a nice breeze despite hiking in the hot part of the day. Bring lots of water!!! Snacks too. While we didn’t plan to hike the whole loop trail, we did.

in the beginning the smell of the lake and the heat of the sun made me nauseous. through the very busy one way at a time trail it got way to hard and hot we all became extremely over heated. I wish they would rate the trails a little better. this I would call moderate to hard.

More like 3.5 miles. Not recommended for dogs, one of mine puked a few times :(

Nice trail with variety all along the way. Part of the flume trail part was closed, but the detour was well marked.

A unique and fun trail. We had a blast and it scenery changes once you get to get to the bottom of the dam. Highly recommended and easy to get to.

Absolutely gorgeous. Short detour for a part of the fluke trail, but all is pretty well marked with white dots.

Beautiful rock formations, lake, and river. Every part of this hike was gorgeous. The breeze off of the water keeps the temp down but it’s still very warm, obviously, so bring water. It was popular but not crowded, with a hiking group every 20 feet or so. Dogs ok on leashes. Paid $3 to enter and park my car at the boat launch.

Nice views and some fun rocky bits. A little heat wave going on right now. Not overly crowded once passed the trailhead so good for keeping distance during COVID.

Great trail. Fun quick hike with the family and the waterfall at was a huge reward. Started the hike at 4:30 in April, not too hot on the way out, had shade most of the way back and easily made it back before the sun went down. Trail was well marked and definitely needed to follow the white dots to know which way to go in some places.

Trail estimated 2 miles, but it actually took me about 3 on this path. Even white dots definitely helped, but sometimes went in multiple directions. I didn’t except the perky rocky path which slowed down pace a bit too. Beautiful though!

I love this trail. The stream at the bottom with multiple small water falls is beautiful! Fun hiking through the rocks and with the view of the lake. Love!

Great trail. Would be easy to get off the trail, because it is very rocky and steep in places, but for it being well marked with white painted dots. Trailhead does not start at the parking lot, but down a short paved road to the boat ramp. A hiking stick really helped—some parts of the trail are marked with alternative “steep” and “steeper” routes (with good reason). Pretty waterfall is a very short detour along the route.
