Challenging. Trail goes straight up to the mountain top without switchbacks. Very rocky.

Great hike if you’re looking for a quick burn. Could be nice to run a time trial on if you’re into that. I would do it again when I want a good workout in under and hour.

Steep up and down. Great for quick hike but lots of loose rock. Small short cuts between switch backs get confusing.

Fantastic trail for a sunset summit. Moderate traffic. It was amazing to see how many people were going up and down multiple times.

Good, fun trail if you’re looking for a quick day hike. Maybe takes 20-30 minutes to get up (with a stop or two for lookouts). Has some points where the trail is not clearly marked, so be attentive. Top is not the most beautiful because of the metal work, BUT there are a bunch of cool lookouts along the way!

Steep in the beginning and turns into pavement. Be careful where the trail actually is and what is just rocks that look like a trail lol.

I enjoyed this trail. Beautiful views of the city. Some scrambling, but nothing too difficult. Lots of loose rock. Trail is relatively easy to follow.

definitely more of a moderate hike. Then again, when we went we did not have enough water and went at 11:30 in the afternoon. we got very far up but ran out of water before making it to the peak. when we ran out of water we thought it was wise to turn back. fun hike!

This is a light conditioning hike for valley hikers, think a Piestewa Peak Jr, about half the distance and elevation. Has some nice views right smack in the city. But the semi-hidden secret is that this is a great summer hike an hour before sunset. I don't wear my shades or a hat as trail an hour before sunset is entirely in shade until the top. So if temp says its 104, the trail is prolly 10-12 degrees less. Humidity may be more, though.
