It’s one of my favorites and to see the sunrise is the best going up Ridgeline first provides the views

Beautiful views of Phoenix metro area. Lots of mountain bikers, everyone kept their distance and gave space to one another.

Absolutely beautiful trail. Was nice to get out. However as the sun was slowly going down around (5pm) when I was leaving there was wayyyy to many people starting to trek up ridgeline.

Great hike with different typographies and elevation changes. We went clockwise and did National Trail to Morman trail to Ridgeline. Total distance was 7.3 miles and elevation gain was roughly 1200 feet. It was a great workout. Saw a lot of wildlife including a snake coiled up under a rocky ledge.

This is not the desert classic trail. This trail is Pima wash and Mormon Loop combined ending off on Ridgeline trail. Definitely not an easy hike but not extremely difficult. Quite a few hills and lots of loose rocks wear good shoes and bring water and even a snack.

The map shown is not Desert Classic Trail. Desert Classic is a desert floor roller out and back. 7 miles from 48th st ramadas to other end at Telegraph Pass along south side of mtns. it is a pretty easy trail. the map shown above is a technical loop w lots of elevation change. all these reviews are mixed between the two vastly different but both great trails. Happy trails!

This was a very nice trail with a very well established trial head. The beginning trail was very wide and flat which could accommodate many people as well as bikers. Further along the trail the path narrows to a normal 2-person width, but this was sometimes challenging when the bikers went by. There were many bikers on the trails today, including this one, but I don't know if this is normal (I think there might have been some event).

Great trail!! So many ways you can go. Did clockwise which is easier on the knees!! Workout was great!!!

It was a really good trail but would not recommend for anybody who is new to mountain biking. It is very rocky and takes a lot of skill to maneuver around the boulders and down the steep hills.

Dog friendly trail with great views of the city from all directions.

Good loop with lots of elevation change. Lost the trail between Mormon and Midlife Crisis, so don’t necessarily follow my path south of the tunnel which is where I took photos. Route is Ridgeline to Mormon then transition over to Midlife Crisis then Marcos De Niza.

Super easy trail, even the hills are not that difficult but most of it is basin flat, light to moderately Trails, lots of mountain bikers as well which tells you something about the grade for Hiking.

Monday day off hike with Shauna and Floyd

This is a great trail. Lots of ups and downs. Nice views from the ridges. Lots of traffic

Parts were nice and smooth, equal uphill to downhill but then there were sandy areas after a sharp downhill. Some parts were so rocky it caused me to fall. Maybe a more advanced rider would do better at this course. Overall I give a B!

Absolutely excellent entry level (Desert Classic) and more mid range if you take the Telegraph Pass Trail. Loved it.

Nice hike for when you just want to get out and not work too hard. Trail is plain and only exciting thing is the view of part of the city. But made for a nice walk with family where we could easily talk.
