It's more like a sidewalk that happens to be shady with loose gravel. No incline. It's nice to run or walk on in the morning when there is a lot of company.
"Trail" alongside a busy street. Allegedly historic, but 'meh'
The Murphy Bridle Path runs along Central Avenue in north central Phoenix. It's essentially a loose gravel sidewalk. It's typically pretty busy with joggers, people walking their dogs, etc. Between the car exhaust, busy intersections, road noise and dust, it's not a very enjoyable route.
