Nice hike lost my camera on it a long time ago.

Nice trail. Easy to access. Met few hikers on the trail, so it's a nice one for some solitude. Fairly good views, otherwise fairly nondescript. If you're not adapted to the higher elevations, go slowly and stay hydrated.

A nice afternoon hike. Not too strenuous but definitely has it's inclines. Good view of the lake at certain points however the trees obscure much of the surrounding area. The forest has not been thinned or maintained making the trail slow to navigate around fallen trees and brush.

As others have said the best views are early on on the trail. The trail is not maintained all that well and much of the trail is covered in downed pines. Pretty easy "mountain" trail though, worth the stroll if you've done everything else already.

Views are very early on the trail. You are able to see Mormon Lake area. When you get to the road go to your right and you come up to the microwave towers.
