Did Geronimo and then linked onto National Trail and lastly Mormon. 6.6 miles. Nice way to start the day.

We took Mormon Trail to National. Mormon was very easy, flat and very wide - needs to be to accommodate the traffic. Nice dogs - not nice dog owners (I love dogs, but do not like when their owners don’t take care of them). Lots of dog poop on Mormon! Once we stumbled on National the walk became much more interesting- good incline and great views from top. The trails are NOT well marked at all - perhaps the maps could say “you are here”.

Trail is really well marked, was easy to follow. This was my first trail run with vert, and I thought it was great! Just challenging enough not to overwhelm me. Weather was perfect - started around 6 am and it was partly cloudy. Saw plenty of runners and mtn bikers out on the trails, no snakes or other animals.
