One of the best trails I've been on so far. I've been when that microburst hit and there was a huge rapid on the trail but it was really fun experience to have mother nature go on us that hard. this was also the first trail I had ever been on. Good for beginners

Loved this hike, challenging, but not scary, fun, with beautiful views throughout. Very friendly people, and an easy enough summit to get to. There are other trails that lead off of this trail, so you can end up hiking for longer than expected, bring plenty of water.

Love South Mountain for days when you have nothing to do but hike.

Fun route. Between easy and moderate. Just longer for the entire loop.
