This was an easy and beautiful trail. I got there earlier to enjoy the sunrise against the canyon. Gorgeous. Highly recommend.

A good trail for an easy exercise walk. The views aren't bad but there's nothing exceptional here. You can hear road noise for a while and there are also power lines along the trail but they aren't too bad. The parking area was enjoy when I arrived at 7 AM but was really full when I got back at 9, so get here early.

Promimity to the town does not spoil the hike. Great views and very few people on it despite beautiful weather

If you don’t mind seeing electric poles and wires it is a nice trail. I - however prefer many other Sedona trails/ views without that distraction.

Well marked, dog-friendly, and good for kids. Not a challenging hike but very beautiful views. Our first hike in Sedona so I can’t compare it to anything else but we had a great time.

Easy hike until you try to go up steamboat. Great views all along the way. Heading up steamboat requires trail finding the whole way as it’s unmarked. Two tough scrambles but we only made it up first one...maybe when I was younger. The Jim Thompson portion is kid friendly for sure and could be a nice one way from Jordan trailhead all the way to Midgely Birdge. It starts off wooded but opens up after about 3/4 of a mile to beautiful vistas.

This was a great hike with some amazing views. The beginning of the trail and also the turnaround point are the most strenuous parts of this hike and even those are not terribly strenuous. Take plenty of water as you are in the sun the entire time.

Great views of Wilson Mtn and Steamboat Rock; good mix of red rock trail, some rocky climbs, not hard.

Offers great views and is well marked. Nice hike, but not one of my favorites here in Sedona.

Really great trail and a fun hike to do with the dogs. The majority of the trail was not shaded, and bc we started around noon, the dogs got tired really quickly in the sun. The hike is more shaded once you get to the end. We continued up to the lower part of Mountain Canyon/Wilson Canyon trail and saw some beautiful views just past the trail end. Lots of fun!

Went on this hike on a Monday morning and it was empty, peaceful, and beautiful. Gorgeous views of water, rock monuments, and trees that varied throught the hike. Would definitely do again.

VERY EASY trail, dog and kid friendly. Only hiked about half way because of the mud. Definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone without hiking boots until it dries out.
