Very challengeable looping trail for 9miles. It was narrow path way and many rocks. If you like moderated course, i would recommend. Otherwise find alternate trail or prepare lots of water and enough snacks if you want to complete

The trail was very exposed unless you go in the afternoon and you get some shade from the mountain. This is a good trail for trail running bring plenty of water. Would only recommend if you are training for endurance. There is a $7 entrance fee, you can pay with cash or card

Mesquite Canyon Spring is a great time for this trail. I've done it a few times already this year. Just a few weeks ago the wild flowers were very colorful. This past weekend it got up to 100° and that was too hot. It's pretty but there is no shade. Bring a lot of water, better to have left overs than run out.

Great trail, just challenging enough. Too many people for my taste, at least for my preference that day. I never realized just how busy the White tanks are - even with restricted entry and restricted parking due to Covid-19 there were quite a few people on this trail, although it did thin out quite a bit in the back half, which was nice. Lot's of lizards. Didn't see any snakes, but I'm sure some were around. Flowers were still very much in bloom in late April.

Great well marked trail. Be sure to bring a lot of water. It was only 70 degrees and I went through 2 liters of water. Sunblock is highly recommended there is not much shade on the trail.

I am preparing for four days of hiking at Glacier National Park this July so I started out with this 8.6 mile Mesquite Canyon Loop. What a great hike and feeling of accomplishment! The trail is well marked and easily accessible. If you are just starting out with hiking and don’t want to push it you should plan on 3.5 to 4 hours. I also love the AllTrails app!

Decided to do half of Mesquite and then jump to Waterfall trail the day after it rained. Wow!!! Both trails were absolutely gorgeous!!! I will be going back to complete Mesquite but I highly recommend this trail. The scenery is breathtaking.

I would recommend this Trail to anyone who is looking for a fun day out in the desert. you can do the whole entire Trail or you can just do half of it. the trail is heavy traffic so you have no problem worrying about if you get lost. Dogs are welcome as well as i gad seen a few.
