Thought it was rated as a Moderate hike but we didn't find that part. Our opinion is that it is a quite Hard trail. It is challenging but beautiful. We didn't get to the end so we have to go back; maybe then we'll find the Moderate hike we were looking forward to.

Good hike, great views. The Green Mountain trail portion of this hike is fairly well maintained and is kept clear. Once you turn off onto the Maverick Spring trail it becomes overgrown and difficult to navigate. About 3/4 of the way to the end of the trail there appears to be a landslide with several large fallen trees blocking the path making it impossible to travel any further. We were forced to turn back early.
