This is a very easy and beautiful lake to travel to. It has a very easy trail for families that strollers could maneuver on. Part of the trail is paved and the other side of the loop is dirt terrain with small hills but very easy. From the store area it may be hard to identify the trail that isn't paved but it does go through the the water passage area where the big wall is just keep going. Look for eagles nests along the trail!

Always a great time walking around Lynx lake. The only downside was the biting bugs at dusk. Ugh

Nice easy hike with lots of shade and places to pull over. Doggie friendly.

I like this hike as it's shady the whole time and offers constant access to the lake. When I was there, there were nesting bald eagles in a tree, so the forest service blocked off that section. Great for kids, dogs, families, anybody. Periodic benches for relaxing, and well marked gravel path with variable grades.

This trail is always a good time! Easy enough for my toddler and teva sandals! It is also beautifully maintained.

A very easy kid and dog friendly hike if you want to enjoy a nice leisure walk. We went during the month of may with plenty of shady areas.
