Being my first time on this trail, it was really easy to get lost. Springtime, allot of new blooms, really difficult to locate then stay on the trail. I ended up across the street visiting the abandoned home and the dam. Unless you're familiar with the trail, I would not recommend it. Although the views are beautiful, it's too dangerous because of the lack of trail markings.

Mostly a rock climbing site but an interesting place to hike as well. Hiking involves scrambling over car-sized rocks, jumping from rock to rock kinda stuff. There are some petroglyphs, a number of caves to explore and usually some wildlife along the river (usually just pools of water at this point rather than a river)
