Hiked it many times from both Hieroglyphics Parking Lot and from Peralta TH. One question, is it closed now because of the Woodbury fire in the Superstitions?

Beautiful hike!! Definitely 12 miles from trailhead to Peralta road but it is a bit harder than easy level if you hike with any heat or pack weight.

One of our favorites. Great trail, and views, long, lots of short ups and downs, as oppose to one long hike up. During the spring the flowers are amazing. Nobody was on this trail either, ran into four other hikers during this multi-hour hike, who parked their two cars at opposite ends of the trail just in case they didn't feel like going out and back, and just wanted to do 3.5-5 miles.

I was pleasantly surprised with this trail. I was expecting a slightly boring trail based on some of the reviews on here but I thought this trail was beautiful! This is actually a little over a 12 mile trail, not 10.8. Very lightly trafficked on a Tuesday. Most people are on the hieroglyphic trail so this is a pretty peaceful trail. We were warned of a rattlesnake near the first atv crossing but luckily it was gone by the time we got there. Be careful on this trail in the hotter months because there is little shade. Beautiful views of the superstitions the entire way. Would definitely hike this trail again!

This was an awesome trail! The trail is actually a little over 12 miles not 10.8. Took about 5 hours to complete minus the 1 hour break. There is little shade so just be aware of that. Not that much traffic on the trail so that was nice. Would definitely recommend this trail! My app stopped recording in the beginning 0.3 miles in so that’s why my miles are a bit off on here.

Had been in the area several times but this is our first time here. We really enjoy the blooming desert. Will come back again.

Good trail a little boring definitely better than taking the hieroglyphics trail because less people. Beautiful flowers in bloom lots of bees pollinating weather was perfect March 17 St. Patrick’s Day. Lots of greenery for the Irish in you and easy hike. Lots of flat spots and mild to climb. Definitely locals using this for personal use like I said before a little bit dull no ending insight.

Species seen: Gila woodpecker Five-striped Sparrow Golden Flicker Verdin Black-tailed Gnatcatcher Cactus Wren Gambel’s Quail House Finch ....All against a backdrop of the beautiful Superstition Mountains! By the end of April (on a re-visit) the wild flowers had run their course for the most part but cacti variety, including the Saguaro, sported huge, colorful blooms.

This trail offers a variety of activities. Within it's 10 miles of trail, you can hike, trail run, bike, and even do some basic bouldering. The views are spectacular! Whether it is the overlook of what lies south and south east, with glimmers of the high way. Or you can gaze to the north in awe of nature's beauty.

I hiked this trail today out and back. I was not able to record the hike in app because the app crashes when I try to record. Anyhow very good trail and great views of the Superstitions. GPS on my phone measured the distance from the west trailhead to the east trailhead as 6 miles.

I liked it, but got a bit turned around towards the end. I think I kept going past the end of it by a few miles. Lots of nice rock formations to view.

I liked this trail. Easy to get to, no dirt roads to drive on, big parking lot. Pretty views . Easy trail to hike no major elevation and can hike farther than what AllTrails show. Would hike again!

Parked at Hieroglyphic and Goldmine Trailhead. Completed both with frequent stops enjoying the wildlife and nature's wonder. (GPS glitch @ Goldmine)

Easy hike with spectacular views of the Superstitions. Very quiet and much less foot traffic than surrounding trails.

Easy but far too boring . It’s like a walk in a desert not really anything interesting to see and no change in elevation so definitely no way to challenge oneself

Pretty decent trail. Level and winding a little bit, but not steep or elevated much at all
