Great trail for my 14 yr old daughter and I while visiting the area. Not too crowded and were able to find our own perch to watch an amazing sunset. Would do again, beautiful!

This trail has great views, but appears to have gotten even rockier over the summer. Definitely doable, but watch your feet.

Quick hike. Got a little sketchy near the top (we went right, trail went left), but we made it. Awesome views. Nice and quiet up there.

Short, but steep hike...good workout, and great views throughout...not advised for children as part of the hike needs to step on lots of small rocks that are on the path...have to be extra careful when coming down..

Quite steep the whole way, a very excellent hike for a good leg workout, plus the views are amazing the entire way up. I stopped every 50 feet and turned around to look over the northern suburbs. The view at the top is absolutely awesome, there arent many trails that get you this high up in such a short distance!

Summit is beautiful! ☀️ You can get to the top in about fifteen minutes after a few go-arounds finding the best routes for you. There's a first "top" that is a good turning point if you don't feel comfortable rock climbing. It's pretty steep towards the top and I generally have to use my hands at certain parts, but the views are stunning and it's definitely not very crowded. I'm excited to do this trail in the fall so I can enjoy the sunset. Be careful - there is a ton of loose rock and I'd say the trip down is much more dangerous than the trip up because of it.

the rewards are the views.

Short quick hike. Good views for a trek you can do in under half an hour. Best at sunset.

gets the blood moving! like others said, recommend circumference loop to get started and add some length. old trails break off in areas and are a little steep so wear good shoes in case you get a little lost. beautiful city view at the top!

little challenging towards the top, wasn't really sure where to go and no one around , so didn't continue. Did the circumference trail to add more length.

Good trail. take the circumference then summit for a better workout. for those seeking more difficulty, on the southwest end there are old trails that require some hand usage and has a lot of loose or slick rocks.

Great trail, we were rockclimbing at one point but it was still enjoyable! Can't beat the entire view of Phoenix once you get to the top!

Nice short hike with a climb. Can add distance by doing the loop too. Lost the trail for a bit near the top with some unmarked forks, but not to the extent you can get lost.

Short hike for those who love/enjoy a quick workout. Est. time from trailhead to peak is around 20min. Very limited parking. If you park at the Lookout Mountain Park (SE of mountain park), parking is generally empty. You can hike Trail 308 around to trailhead.
