Long Logs is one of the largest concentrations of petrified wood in the park. Explore this ancient log jam at the base of gray badlands. The first half-mile of this trail is paved and suitable for mobility equipment and strollers. Strollers may be negotiated on the loop, but it is not recommended for most wheelchairs and other mobility equipment due to its narrow width and very rough surface. Stairs up to the shade shelter can be avoided by using the Agate House trail to access the hilltop.

This was the last trail we did in Petrified Forest and while the size of the logs was impressive, the colors were nothing like Jasper Forest.

The hike was super beautiful and peaceful. Easy trail as well, the Agate house honestly was not as cool as what I expected being that it is a reconstructed version to show you what it originally was. But still definitely a must see if you visit the park!

Easy, paved trail. Cool petrified logs along the way and some pretty desert scenery in the distance. Other than that, pretty boring.

In respect to the actual trail, this is a good hike for people who don't hike.

In respect to the quality of the landscape, very high with amazing logs and stunning badlands. Absolutely worth pursuing.

Nice walk through some of the nicest petrified logs in the park. Trail is heavily trafficked. But it is a good one if you are rushing through the area.

Did this trail in 1969. This area has the largest concentration of petrified logs in the entire park. Just to the east of the Rainbow Forest Museum.
