The Peralta, Freemont Saddle and Lone Tree trails are all pretty much the same trail. This seemed to be the best one since it was the closest to Weaver’s Needle and the Lone Tree lookout area is a perfect place to stop for a rest

We absolutely loved this hike! Beautiful the entire way up and back! The colors a vivid and the climb is just right grade. It felt easier than it should be given the route leads you up to amazing view of Weaver’s Needle. The extra little hike out to Lone Tree for a rest and picnic is a must!!!

Awesome trail up to Weaver's Needle and Lonely Tree. 6.0 miles round trip. Earlier the better on this trail… got there at 7:30am, beautiful sky at sun rise.

Also saw Geronimo Cave trail off to the left after leaving lonely tree, maybe next time!!

Beautiful hike! Relatively easy. Make sure you go all the way to lone tree because the views are spectacular at this spot. The climb is gradual so you don’t really even notice it.

Favourite hike in Phoenix Region. Good elevation gain and fantastic view of Weavers Needle once you reach the saddle. Views back towards the trailhead aren’t that shabby either. Not very busy today. Incredible rock formations. Trail is reasonably good shape. Well worth the four hours.
