Great hike and so interesting! The views are pretty spectacular, too. We made it with 3 kids, easy enough.

Abandoned at late afternoon - nice light - fallen trees with interesting dried roots - colour contrasts: black of lava stone, yellow of flowers

Great loop - not too hard and beautiful views from the top!

Quick hike with a great payoff. The climb is steep but you are rewarded with great views of the crater and the San Francisco peaks at the end. Highly recommended.

Short loop walking to the top of a cinder cone. There are views of Lenox Crater and other volcanos. You can continue into the Lava Flow trail.

1/2 mile up a loosely packed cinder cone at 6000 ft elevation is a test for many cardio systems.

Great view at the top!
