The trail is difficult to find and follow unless your paying close attention. After the 1st mile or so the trail is more defined, however it's still easy to get off trail if your not aware. After 2.5 miles we turned back, the climb was a good workout. After all the Mt lion scat and tracks and zero bear sign we believe this trail should be renamed. Bear canyon was pretty cool to explore.

Awesome trial! It’s hidden a little in the beginning, but about 5 minutes into it, you’ll know you are on the trial. Amazing sunrise trail. The trail is not marked on the road, so gps is how you find it. It is a off roasting trail that turns into a horse trail.

A good morning or evening hike. Trail is not properly marked, add that with the sometimes narrow un maintained trails adds to the difficulty. Nice scenery with wild flowers, birds rolling mountains. No proper signage, so the uncertainty that you on the correct tail is always there..
