IceHouse Canyon, Kellner, valley overlook. Beautiful hidden walls on the way up. And it is Up the whole way. A few water crossings near the end that are best after rain. Want to go back in winter. Would be a good dog trail, just watch out for rattlers, saw one on the open wide part of the trail.

Nice trail with pretty views. I don’t think this should be rated as difficult, however. It’s 2 miles in to gain a little over 1k in elevation. Much of the trail was overgrown and spotted with animal droppings, but the last half mile was worth the trip. You finish the hike overlooking the rolling mountainous landscape.

First to Review

Most of the trail is on an old road. Let yourself through a barbed wire removable fence. The view and vegetation changes little while on the road.
