Beautiful drive!! Great break from the heat of Kingman. The pines smell amazing. Excited to hike the trail and visit again when it’s even more cool weather.

did this trail on march 17, 2018. the trail up was great. moved quickly. then from the top to climb to the peak was tough on a gravel bike with 38mm tires. from the peak down to yucca was near impossible due to ruts, rocks, boulders and rock gardens. it took me as long to descend as to climb. need at least 2inch tires and a full suspension mountain bike. also the descent into yucca is a deserted ranchland. so expect no aid. take all your nutrition with you for this very long ride. but once your up at top and ride up, it is beautiful. lots of green. no ice or snow. 4 star climb - 5 star views. 2 star descent - 3 avg

We climbed this trail 1/14/18 65 and sunny with snow on trail in upper elevations. The views of the valley were worth the effort breathtaking.
