The Horseshoe trail is an easy 2 mile out back trail at Estrella Mountain Regional Park. The trail weaves up and down through several washes. It ends at the rodeo arena. You can go back the way you came or you can make a loop hike by taking the Toothtaker trail and the Baseline trail back. $6 entry fee per car.

We had a great time. Views are not great but good place to do a quick hike. Would return. Recreational areas are clean and they provide power, water and rest areas.

The directions are misleading. You need to start on Horseshoe Trail, take a right on Toothaker Trail for 0.2 miles and then a right on Baseline Trail. This will loop you around. The trail is an easy trail with a small elevation.

Really great Trail! I started on Gila and detoured onto this one. Glad I did. Lots of little turns and hilly areas. Path is very clean and easy to walk. Saw a little bit of wildlife but not much (between 7am-8am).

Bumblebees all over the yellow flowered trees. They leave you alone and are fun to watch. The buzzing is loud.

Definitely easy trail with low elevation change. Be careful because there’s a pile of horse manure every tenth of a mile or so. It was nice for a walk with a dog if your dog isn’t interested in poop.
