Great loop Trail through the pines with rocky formations. The trail is frequently used by groups on horses from the horse camp.

Beautiful trail, fairly well marked to stay on 383...but we managed to go the wrong way once or twice Also was longer than 2.6 miles...we estimate about 3.5. And we did not see another soul on the trail either!

Lots of shade. Great hike. Watch out for horse manure.

We went in mid March. The weather was lovely. The hike is 2.5 miles, but we got off the loop somehow and it ended up being over four miles for us. The signage was good at the beginning, but not as good later. We saw lots of beautiful birds. Someone was shooting guns in the distance which was a little unnerving.

Nice peaceful trail. If you are first out, you clear lots of spider webs. Sandy basin to walk through, very shaded

If any other idiots like myself and my husband can’t find the trail.. it’s across the road.

Nice easy trail. Brought 5 year old daughter and dog with us. Saw a couple herds of deer (or same herd twice, Lol). Mostly in the shade, single trail at times, nothing strenuous to climb up, not rocky.

Easy, pretty trail! Sandy path most of the way, with few narrow spots. We didn't see any wildlife, but saw plenty of tracks!

Great trail for beginners or seasoned hikers. Great scenery and away from the city heat of Phoenix.

Nice trail. A bit sandy due to horses. Trail was narrow at times, but a very nice hike. It took us 1:15 hours. This was after doing a 7 mile hike right before.

This is an easy loop trail with some small steep hills but not too strenuous. The trail used frequently by the horse camp, so watch out for groups of horseback riders anywhere on the trail. Lots of Pine, rocky formations, some view points of the surrounding area, and all on a well-defined trail.
