Permit required. But you can park at Pleasant harbor and bushwhack a short distance to ger there. Awesome views and fun nature trail with benches. Saw some wild burros.

Not sure if I can’t get to hike because it’s November or because it’s a special arrangement with Pleasant Lake... looks like it has to be an event but I don’t know.
