This hike starts on Thumb Butte Road (C65) 3.6 miles past the Thumb Butte recreation area at the intersection with Forest Road #51. After hiking 1.0 miles up trail @333 (one of those interesting miles which feels like downhill in both directions) you can take a 2-mile loop consisting of Trails #333, #332, and #326 to return to #333 where the loop started. This hike is all forested, with periodic views of Granite Mountain, Thumb Butte, and the City of Prescott.

Hike out was actually 1 mile the loop was 2.5 so made the whole hike 4.5 miles. But still a beautiful hike and we will definitely be doing it again.

Great trail, family really like the loop. The forest service recently has been doing some forest thinning so the south part of the trail is a little hard to follow. Just keep your head up and you will see it.

Good hike but it is actually 322 not 332 that you connect with. The dirt road getting to Forest Road 51 is not the best. Also when leaving you can go the other direction and meet up Copper Basin. Beautiful scenery along the two miles dirt road. The roads are best with a 4x4
