Rocky, some steepness to it but not bad, pretty simple trail to follow. Somewhat moderate trail. Enjoyed the trail many times now. Also scorpions, rattlesnakes, and mice seem to be more out in the evening time.

Great trail with great views. Some shaded areas and occasional breeze. Elevation is steady with not too many steep inclines. and the views are amazing!

Too crowded going up but nice and shaded 5:45 am. 102 degrees coming down by 8:30am. I love the trail other than the crowd. It felt like a good cardio for me because I didn’t have to stop as often as I usually have to stop so it’s a doable work out for me

This is my go to trail in a daily basis as is around my house. I tried going today but the whole entrance is align to follow the Covid-19 testing sites. A lot ARMY present and firefighters! I am not sure if there is access to the trail from the main entrance.

Early am hours are best. Very popular. During Pandemic recommendations to wear a mask resulted in very little taking heed. Still good cardio hike and not too many rocks to scramble.

Awesome view and fun trail. Lots of switchbacks and pretty steep. plan on going an hour up and 30-45 min down. Try to go as early as you can, before the sun comes up for sure

Trail is clearly marked and it is easy. I was hiking up with a group of mom and kiddos around 8 to 12 years old. They did find on their own. Great view at the top

Very fun trail! It’s a Phoenix classic and a must do. This one is a definitely on the harder end of the moderate trails I have done but the views are well worth it. It’s a good practice run if you are thinking of talking Piestewa or Camelback as its not quite as hard as those two but still gives you a bit of a challenge. Bring plenty of water if traveling up in the warmer months. Trail is very easy to follow so you should have no trouble making it to the top. Watch out for the wildlife, I didn’t see snakes but I did see a Gila monster. Overall, great hike! It’s a must do in the area
