At the end of this trail, there are petroglyphs and small waterfalls in early spring. Note: do not park on the side of the road; you will get towed. Instead, be sure to park in the parking lot area.

Did this hike 03.02.19 with my two girls and the waterfall was flowing at a good pace. Be careful where you park, if you don’t park in the designated parking area you will get towed. The parking lot is at the end of a subdivision. The hike was beautiful and lots of places to stop and take pictures. As you get closer it does get a bit rocky. There is even a cave to give some shade if needed. We took snacks and water to have a small picnic at the end of the hike & it was all worth it

Trail is a nice hike and a beautiful place for a snack or lunch at the end. We usually take our out of town friends here. It's not too difficult but there is a little bit of a challenge near the end where the petroglyphs are for non-hikers.

Trail is now open. Great energizing walk with plenty of desert scenery. Waterfalls after rain sometimes add to the beauty.

Seems like a great trail but it’s closed. Once you get near a mile up it is completely blocked off with wire and a gate.

Nice approx 3 mile out and back with a steady mild incline to hieroglyphs and water area, not usually flowing unless there has been lots of rain in the area. Heavy traffic during winter months and on weekends.

Fun easy hike with great views. If you time it right, you can watch the sun set as you hike out. Definitely my favorite time to go. Magic happens when the sun sets in the AZ desert.

This trail is super cool and easy. There are sometimes waterfalls at the end if you can go right after rain and there are a ton of pictographs!

The small pond at the end of the trail had lots of lizards and other small wild life. The kids really enjoyed it. Not much shade @ 10-1130am in June. We should have gone earlier, but a very nice, windy trail. Good footing and clear path.

I love this trail! Hiked it countless of times. I went yesterday and today back to back and started between 526am to 546am. Earlier the better to avoid high traffic of people. Today around 630am we witnessed the tail end of a rattlesnake at eye level near the top by the waterfall. It was about 71 Deg by then. Be careful and wise when hiking.. and bugs tend to get rowdier as you get higher up. Regardless..I love this trail.

Great trail. Easy to moderate trail great for kids and dogs. Heavily trafficked but the views are amazing throughout the whole hike. Takes about 1.5-2 hours in and out.

BUSY. Lots of people on the trail, but surprisingly clean. At the top it spreads out and you can climb around the rocks in the wash. A great place to take kids that love climbing over the boulders. We went past the hieroglyphs, but ended up turning around when we came across a couple hoards of bees that we didn't want to disturb (as much for our sake as theirs).

Great steady climb to the petroglyphs! Some water trickling down into pools still. Beautiful day with a cool breeze headed up the canyon. Beware of leeches in water if you plan to stick your feet in.
