Good hike! Lots of bikers just got to be cautious with them. View at the top is worth it.

Moderately challenging. Tracked 5.8 miles from gate and back. As it gets warmer in the next month or so, if you don't go super early, the sun is going to beat you down. Went at 9:30, finished before noon. 80 degrees when we were done but seemed much hotter with the sun. The only downfall was the abundant number of bikers!

Horseback riding

Beautiful trail once you get to it. Took the horses out and it was terrible trying to get in an entrance. There is one right across from one of the parking lots but you can not get your horse through and the trail leads you down a huge ravine. Can’t go side to side because barbed wire fence will greet you. Hikers complained about the positioning of this fence as well, believe it is new. We ended up walking down the street to get to a horse friendly entrance but had to do some sketchy road riding to get there. It was a beautiful ride and horses definitely handled it well but the start and finish was rough.

Would go counter clockwise to hike. Good for running on a lot of it. Didn’t do any scramble on it the hardest was the pea gravel could make it a little slippery. Very easy!!

This was a pretty fun trail you park in a dirt area off the side of the road and then walk along the street for a quarter of a mile to the trail head. There is public parking down the street but you need a Tonto pass. We did about 4 miles and we crossed a lot of mountain bikers so that seems to be popular here. Pretty well marked Trail and easy to follow. We liked it it was very close to town so it made it easy and the views were pretty.

We had to begin on a different trail to get to this one from where we started, but it was easy to access, we did almost 6 miles and went off trail to get back to our car! Overall a good challenging hike. I took my almost 5 year old and she was carried the last mile so very doable.

It was a really fun trail. I ran on it with a couple of friends and we had a great time. There is some wonderful views on the trail as well. Also my Garmin said the trial was about 6 miles. Overall though would definitely do again.

Great moderate hike! I tracked it at 6 miles though. There are a lot of bikers but it’s easy to see them coming. The cave is creepy if you want to go in it! Awesome views. There are a lot of other trails so just remember to stay on the sugarao trails, there a lot of signs to help you. I would definitely do this again!
