Nice trail, it’s right off a highway and was a little more dangerous to get back to our car. The trail had no shade but pretty views. LOTS of mountain bikes slowed us a bit but they were all very nice folks! The dog loved it. We went super early so it wasn’t too hot for him. By the time we were done it was pretty crowded.

Great 1.5 hr 3 mi desert trek. Challenging at times with up/down grade but nothing too strenuous.

Easy 3 miles of hiking and great views of the Salt River and Red Mountain. Beware of mountain bikers as some do not give you warning before they zoom past you.

This was a nice early morning hike, but the trail got busier around 9 am. The trail head is a little difficult to locate. My dog and I really enjoyed it. Watch for rattlesnakes. Someone saw one on the trail when we were out there.

We set out to do this trail yesterday ( all I have is a pic of the trail) missed our turn and ended up walking the "fence line" and seeing the backs of some very nice homes. Apparently we missed the right hand turn that would of taken us back on the lower part of this loop. Good thing we had a car parked at the Park & Ride on Power Rd. and then one car parked near the start of the trail. Nice trail, some ups and downs in a very pretty area of the desert! We started at 8 a.m. did not see any critters only beautiful flowers and a TON of bicyclists who don't warn ya by saying LEFT. You'll find yourself stopping alot to share the path. Stay hydrated and enjoy the desert!

Did this trail by myself today. I’d say it was a fairly easy hike. Just listen for mountain bikers so you can find an area to pull over and let them pass. I hike around 2pm and there was the perfect amount of people. The AllTrails app did come in handy, as there was no posting as to which way to go when you got to the sandy area.

Great trail! We took family members in their 70s & they did well with lots of breaks. There were also many inclines & blind corners. Should not be classified as “easy.”

Definitely more than moderate! Hard tail and less than a year into MTB and that was a pride buster for me. Prolly a 5 start for better riders on full suspension.

A great family hike. Went middle of the day on Saturday and didn't have an issue with parking. The terrain is a little rocky and can be narrow in spots. It was challenging enough for the adults, but not too difficult that the kids weren't able to complete it.

Like others said, parking is limited. We actually parked further down the road than were the map shows to start. You will have to cross the road though to get to the trailhead so be careful with the car traffic. Beautiful area. My only complaint is that most of the mountain bikers did not announce their presence so we almost got run over several times. I took my dog and she had no problems.

Great little trail with some steep climbs. Took the dogs out and they were worn out doing the hike. March 1 and there were some rattle snakes out. Let them pass and keep away from them.
