A wonderful hike that one can continue up to Sugarloaf Mtn via the South Black Mountain Road.

This is a great trail to get away from the crowds in Sedona, and it offers incredible views of the Red Rock Secret Mountain Wilderness.

A really nice trek if you're staying at the Mago Retreat. The grindstone tank is a naturally formed flume and holding "tank" on the side of Black Mountain. There is a scramble up the walls of the tank which you can avoid, the views inside are nice too. Nicer views await those that scramble up to the top however!
