Half of the trail was a little rocky, but great views of the valley and saguaro-filled hills!
Overall good trail, was a little hot but the sun helped. Felt like it was uphill for the first 2/3rd! Definitely a lot of loose rocks so be careful where you step
Nice short trail by the saguaros. It was really hot when we did it (between 11 am - 1 pm on Saturday 4/3) so definitely bring water and a hat. Saguaros were everywhere and there was a good view from the Gould mine
Very cold and lovely winter hike so a really nice experience today with E. Not too challenging for him and he loved the mine. Almost 3 miles, going clockwise, which was a nice direction. Wouldn’t want to do this in heat but on an overcast & chilly day it is a winner.
Great trail! There’s good views of the valley. When you get to the wash there are some petroglyphs a few feet into the wash to the right. Just watch out for the bees in that area!
Pretty rocky terrain, be sure to have proper footwear. Some cool views. Want to take the bigger loop next time, but cut it short today.
