Decent trail that probably deserves 3.5 stars. Not as nice or scenic as Barnhardt, but a good workout and some decent views especially on the last third.
We got off track in the beginning when we didn’t go through a gate and ended up having to do a bit of bushwhacking.

I'd change this rating to difficult because of the steepness of some parts--needs switchbacks. Nice countryside, and easy to access the TH, but the view and sounds of the highway follow you for miles. No water, little to no shade unless you want to lie on the ground to get under one of the many bushes.

Enjoyed this one in May. Good time. Nice views. A few deer along the way .
