Excellent hike with a lot of small challenges. Keep an eye out of the various poison ivy patches. To add distance and challenge continue around the lake.

Fun little trek, a little challenging for little ones, but they had a blast.

This trail isn't on the Alltrails app. But it should be. A nice 1.5 mile hike in different terrains.

Gold Pan (444 & 442).is NOT an easy trail. Definitely moderate! Found a little pool of water with crawdads! Once you get to Lynx Lake, super easy! I would do it again!

beautiful trail with low traffic until you get to the lake. did find 2 rattle snakes one on the path hidden under a rock but he let us know he was there. wish I had followed the creek to the larger waterfall before the damn. trail was not marked well, we ended up following the creek until we hit the fence line and ascended to the top. would definitely do this trail again but would mark as moderate for hikers leas experienced with finding thier way, plus lots of rocks and boulders.

Loved this trail. A true piece of Prescott history. The poison Ivy was in full effect. There were signs so that was very helpful! We walked this with a 5 year old and a 2 year old.

Beautiful trail following Lynx Creek. Started at the north end and headed south. First-half is pretty easy, second-half is a bit more difficult as there are many rocks to climb. I would rate this trial toward the difficult end of Easy. Also, the route we followed was only 1.0 mile, not 1.4 as listed in this app.

I've heard of this trail for awhile now and have finally had a chance to do it. Very cool hike, the parking lot is right at the trailhead so that helps. The trail pretty much follows the creek the whole way so it makes good for pictures. I saw a few people digging for gold which is what this hike is mainly known for. Keep in mind that this trail is quiet and few people traverse it so you may see some wildlife. A sign posted halfway through the hike says that you may see Mountain Lions, Rattlesnakes, Foxes along with other things such as Poison Ivy. You can continue to follow the creek until you hit a small rock waterfall or follow the correct path up to the dam itself which ends at the Lynkx lake parking lot. I highly recommend this hike for people in the area, very beautiful and peaceful trail.

beautiful trail with sights of the waterfall and the lake. I stopped at the waterfall but could see the lake from the top. got confused a couple times figuring out which trails to take but if you download the map you'll have no problem

I tried to run this connector as part of larger effort over the weekend. It is in no way run-able due to the rocks and drop-offs as you get closer to Lynx Lake. However, it was still an enjoyable section. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/3878276257
