Love this trail. About 6 miles with great up and down, not steep. Pretty views. Have not seen a rattlesnake here yet even though down the road at Spur Cross the rattlers abound! Some hikers we ran into saw a Gila Monster today. There isn't much shade and it reached 90 today at the end of our hike at about 9:45am and I ran out of water in my Camelback about 3/4 of way through. Bring extra water and some other type of fuel.
