Great desert views
Loved this trail! Great workout! Very rocky trail in places. Not too much shade so go early.
I would call this an easy hike. There is minimal incline. Most of it is good for trail running though.
One of our favorites.
Beautiful trail, quiet, serene and just enough "difficulty" to keep me feeling a good workout! :)
Highly recommended. Can see why you have to pay to enter. Worth all $6.00!
Beautiful hike and the wild flowers were amazing! Looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks to hike again and see all the cactus flowers that will be blooming!
Still plenty of flowers. This is one beautiful hike.
Bring plenty of water
Well manicured trail with beautiful views! The wildflowers are popping. Just under 6 mile loop.
Beautiful trail that's an easy 'moderate '. Some loose rock and elevation at start but then turns into a really doable scenic hike with large teddy bear cholla and endless flowering brittle bush. Very peaceful and lightly traveled today.
Great trail, moderate grades, beautiful scenery. Abundant wildflowers in late March.
Beautiful views of the wild flowers. Perfect weather, low 70's. Wouldn't want to do above 80F, no shade. Go John North Was busy until Overton trail, then only a few hikers until near the Quartz intersection.
This trail is not as steep as we were told. We are 65 and 70 and had no problems. It is a well maintained trail with beautiful views. The Hills were covered in flowers and so beautiful. If you decided not to do the full 6+ miles, you can opt for a shorter trail in the area with just as beautiful views.
Beautiful day! Love the wildflowers .
