Beautiful trail! Mostly easy, just a very long walk! Some shaded spots to take the heat off.

trail is well marked and in good shape. at 3 miles in there is a good climb. nice to see benches to sit down and rest along the trail in several spots. $6 fee to get in Park area. good workout. plan 2.5 to 3 hours

Took my camera along hoping to see a rattler and right by the trail was a coiled diamondback 6’ plus. Got some great photos. Super run and epic scenery.
Like the signs say, watch for snakes.

Love this trail. About 6 miles with great up and down, not steep. Pretty views. Have not seen a rattlesnake here yet even though down the road at Spur Cross the rattlers abound! Some hikers we ran into saw a Gila Monster today. There isn't much shade and it reached 90 today at the end of our hike at about 9:45am and I ran out of water in my Camelback about 3/4 of way through. Bring extra water and some other type of fuel.

Loved this trail! Great workout! Very rocky trail in places. Not too much shade so go early.

I would call this an easy hike. There is minimal incline. Most of it is good for trail running though.

Beautiful trail, quiet, serene and just enough "difficulty" to keep me feeling a good workout! :)
Highly recommended. Can see why you have to pay to enter. Worth all $6.00!

Beautiful hike and the wild flowers were amazing! Looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks to hike again and see all the cactus flowers that will be blooming!

Beautiful trail that's an easy 'moderate '. Some loose rock and elevation at start but then turns into a really doable scenic hike with large teddy bear cholla and endless flowering brittle bush. Very peaceful and lightly traveled today.

Great trail, moderate grades, beautiful scenery. Abundant wildflowers in late March.
