Did this trip April 2006 with 4 friends over 7 days. This section of the Canyon is remote, rugged and not often visited. We saw 7 people in the first six days, 28 on our way out on the last say. Water is key element. Trip only possible in spring, winter or during the late summer early fall monsoon season. Milage for our trip was closer to 50 miles than the reported 43-44. Trails not marked. Could be done in as little as 4-5 days, but why hurry!!!
