Heavily trafficked every time I’ve gone! A great hike for beginners and people of all ages.

Great trail. Ran into a few groups of entitled people who didn’t want to slide to one side of the trail when I was trying to run past. Other than that, good trail.

It’s a beautiful trail. I would consider it lightly moderate. There’s lots of other trail opportunities off the loop trail. The bathroom facility is very nice as well!

Nice hike. Not too steep but very rocky.

Views on the trail is outstanding. Lots and lots of great cacti to enjoy. Solid moderate trail. Went with a guide, but with this app, you don’t need one at all. Will definitely be back!!

Nice loop trail. Easy climb, but with generous parking the trail can get crowded which can make it a challenge to move at a good pace

Good hike with nice views but really rocky. Constantly watching foot placement

We headed out early and glad we did as there were crowds of people arriving as we were leaving, maybe because it was a Saturday. Not much wildlife, saw some deer and that was about it, trails were well marked, it was a great workout!

Nice trail, with decent elevation gain. Lots of traffic and bikes. Would do again and in both directions. Lots of loose rocks so be careful.

Not a bad loop. The trail was packed (2 January) with kids and most turn back not knowing this is actual trail hiking. The only odd part was the “Snottsdale” effect. The unwritten hikers' code is to say “hey” “hi” “howdy” to people you pass along a trail. Here I ran into more people in one day with little/no water (complete inexperience in hiking) and the cold shoulder when greeted then I have in the last two years of A Lot of hiking around the country. I always laughed at the “Snottsdale” moniker because I usually have great experience in and around the town but I got the full Monty today. - lol.

So if you do hike this trail, think about bringing some extra water (I gave a bottle to a family who was sharing one bottle between them) for inexperienced hikers, expect some people to have a blank robot look hidden behind shades when you say hello.

The bad behind us, it is a really enjoyable area with great views and multiple trails to explore, making this a place to visit regularly. Experienced hikers will have an easy time but there are sections with some good inclines and the footing is pretty solid throughout! I will definitely return and now that I know the local scene it will be more enjoyable!!

Very good workout but the footing is extremely Rick with a great deal of loose sharp rocks. Be ready for a foot/ankle/knee pounding

Very beautiful trail for moderate hikers. It's a little bit tough for average mountain biking, since there's quite a bit of climbing and rocking path. However, the view a long the trail is spectacular

The location makes it a great trail to hop on for a quick hike, or connect through to longer, more challenging hikes too. Great spot to watch the sunset over Scottsdale. Pretty busy trail.

Trail is in good shape. Pretty steady up then down. Extremely busy, and with that comes many people that are unaware of trail etiquette. Decent views. Overall kinda boring. The side trails looked more interesting.

Terrific. Long slow incline, ditto descent.
