The above picture is misleading. The “Four Peaks Trail” does not lead you to the top of any of the Peaks. It takes you to an area with a nice view of Four Peaks from the back side. There are no views of Phoenix to the West. That being said, it’s still a very nice hike on a maintained trail, that is not too difficult...other than the length and time. The access road off highway 188 is about 11 miles of unpaved and a bit rough at times. Not a problem with an SUV. A little more difficult with a car but it can be done if you take your time. Giving it 4 Stars only because I was hoping it would lead to the top as shown.

Beautiful but cold with some snow on the peaks just before Christmas. Will definitely be back.
