This park is great but be sure to plan your visit around the hour because that is when the 300 foot fountain. The fountain pumps out 7,000 US Gallons per second out of a 18 inch nozzle. The fountain is truly amazing and I recommend it for all ages. Also the fountain runs from 9am to 9pm so it will go off even at night because they have lights on the fountain.

It was a nice walk to go on with my kiddos. The fountain goes off every hour on the hour from 9am-9pm - we got there at 3:05 when it was just finishing up. However we took a nice slow walk around, looking at the birds/ducks and enjoying the weather. Would have been a great place to bring UNO and a picnic basket. They had a cool playground area with a music section with tons of different actual percussion instruments for the kids to play with. Very cool. Will be back.

Great hike if you want to take a brief detour from the park’s paved trail. Recommend entering the trail near the parking lot if you want to be challenged with some uphill cardio.

This is a fun family walk. It's all concrete but you can wander off it to the grass and gravel. Lots to watch, Ducks, birds, turtles, frisbee golfers, massive fountain at the top of every hour 9AM to 9PM with tons of people from all over the world present.

Very nice walk around the park. It isn't very long but the scenery is pretty. You have to navigate the duck doo, but there was someone washing the path so imagine FH try's to keep the path clean. I liked how there were different information spots along the way. And the plantings were starting to bloom. This might be too hot to walk in the summer because there isn't much shade. AND, of course the fountain is stunning!

Not really a hike, just a walk around the eponymous fountain of dozy Fountain Hills.

Perfect place for a relaxed walk. My dogs love seeing the fountain go off and training is plentiful as there are a lot of distractions around. There is a paved walkway or you can stroll in the grass, my grandma did it with no problems. It is almost always busy, and even with people around we once saw a bobcat.

This is really more of a walk than a hike, but it does give one a good flavor of this small town. The fountain is certainly the biggest attraction to this walk with the fountain spraying water at a rate of 7,000 US gallons per minute through an 18-inch nozzle. With all three pumps under ideal conditions, the fountain reaches 560 feet (170 m) in height. It goes of every hour on the hour for 15 min. They dye it green for St Patrick's day. Great place to take visitors to get a little flavor of the Fountain Hills. Also great splash pad for kids near the playground.
