Good little hike. Lots of shade and wild grasses. I made it longer and walked along the spring. A bit rocky along that trail, but not hard.

Beautiful easy meandering trail thru the trees, and a lovely path by the creek. Definitely plan to bring my dogs back with a hammock!

We were unable to do this hike, as the location stated as the trailhead is in a private, gated neighborhood. Perhaps there’s another option for where to begin but the app tried taking us to a gated neighborhood.

Surprisingly nice trail! Lots of flowers by the stream and decent shade on half the trail. We started from the cul-de-sac as shown within the private Forest Highlands community, but you can also start by branching off the Griffith Springs trail loop at the north end. If starting in Forrest Highlands park up high on the main road near the overpass then walk down the road to a pump house. Cut under the road and go through the tunnel... super cool for kids! Trial hops back and forth over a small stream but wasn't too muddy.
