Pretty cool ride, trail doesn’t lead directly to water though. Will have to walk a bit.

3/2/19 I took my 4x4 Dodge Ram down and had no problem at all keeping it in two wheel drive the entire time. The trail starts with approx 3 miles of graded dirt road before making a right onto a narrower sandy road through the washes. It is mostly soft sand with a few rocky spots. There were many abandoned mines along the way with beautiful variations in rock coloration. Upon getting to the river I was hoping to be able to drive right up to the water but this was not the case. There are many cat tails and vegetation that prevents driving and even walking to the water. Your best bet is to hike up the bluff on either side of the wash to get a better look at the river. Overall it was a great little trip and I’m glad I got to explore a new area. On a side note, I went on a Saturday and didn’t see a single person the entire time down and back, and with having cell signal about 40% of the time, be careful and know what you are capable of.

Love the trail! Was my first time actually “off-roading” with my Tacoma. It’s 2wd but still had no issues doing this trail! Couldn’t find a way to get down to the water at the end but still was a blast! I plan on tackling Moab later this year with my Tacoma!

Great high speed trail. A short hike is required to get to the river’s edge. Worth the trip and plan to go again.

Not a challenging out and back trail. I did this twice over Christmas in a Jeep Wrangler and a friend in a 2wd Tacoma. Never needed to put the Jeep in 4wd. A little sandy in spots but as long as you keep your momentum, you’ll be fine. High clearance recommended for a couple of tight spots but otherwise pretty easy. The view is ok but gets better further into the trail. The reward is getting to the riverside. Very peaceful, clean and secluded. I’d love to come back in the summer and jump into the river to cool off. Will definitely do this again.

Fun little trail. Very smooth for riding side by sides which makes it enjoyable. Will definitely do it again.

trail was ok, little disappointing that it didn't lead all the way down to the water. Simple, decent short ride

Cool trail. A lot to see and many other trails to go explore as you go. Will definitely go again. Just an hour from Las Vegas.

It was a lot of fun, little washed out and a few rocks to crawl but overall a fun trip! I drove a 03 tj rubicon with stock suspension and had zero problems

This is a 13.0 mile stretch from highway 93 through to Lake Mohave/The Colorado River. It is not exciting at first but you do go into a canyon with interesting rocky landscapes. You see the green start to grow the closer you get into the trail and to the lake. Terrain is not too challenging but 4X4 is highly recommended for some sandy areas. I've been in on dirt bikes and ATVs and have found little to no problems. I plan on doing this trail many times.
