Valley loop using Templeton, Cathedral, Easy Breezy and Ht trails. Nice mixture of valley, creek beds and rock ledges not terribly strenuous, short section near the highway with a little noise. Numerous crossings of the creek bed so if there was any water running it might be wet.

This is a nearly perfect trail. It's not particularly hard but it's a great workout. It will take you about 1.5 hours. It is full of wonderful scenery. It is well marked except toward the end but you really can't miss the trail head parking lot. Fantastic views of Cathedral Rock. This is one trail you must do. Highly recommend.

Nice trail. We added on Hermit to Templeton from Yavapai Vista as Cathedral Trailhead is closed. It’s the quiet side of cathedral rock and it is beautiful and quiet.

The trail was extremely muddy. I saw some people trying to do this with sneakers and it was a hazard for them. The trail was pretty easy with some minor elevation changes. Parking is limited, we ended up parking up the road. Most people go for the Cathedral Rock climb so this trail is not crowded.

Be prepared for a small stretch that is steep. A few people backed out at that point. On the way back we took templeton to Easy Breezy, making an additional 3 mile loop to the parking lot. Enjoyed walking in a stream bed on Easy Breey- different flora for the desert. Parking sucked. Seriously. We parked on the side of the road and then on the way out we saw two cop cars going from car to car, issuing tickets. While there were areas that said no parking, it looked like they were giving them out one by one, regardless of location. Just be careful where you park.

My wife and I started this intending to do the trail marked here, but then she really wanted to hike up Cathedral Peak Trail. We made it up maybe 1/4 of the way but turned around. She’s 5-months pregnant and the bending over to scramble and climb were hurting her belly. We decided to come back. The Easy Breezy-Slim Shady-Templeton route was perfect for us though. Really great with fun views.
