The Dynamite trail was introduced as part of Arizona's centennial celebration. It is a 2.4 mile trail that is accessible from the Goldmine trail head at W. Skyline Drive. It connects to the San Tan Trail in the northern part of the San Tan Mountain Regional park. Parking fee is $6.00, charged by Maricopa County.
Very nice trail. Well maintained. It wasn't challenging so I could take my mother with me but was still a good walk we could both enjoy. The desert was blooming with beautiful flowers. There are other trails that connect to this trail if you want to extend and do more. Mountain bikers and hikers can share the trail easily, and everyone was very friendly along the hike.
easy trail, lots of bikes.
Easy steady climb with very nice views.
Easy, perfect for beginners, kids & pets.
Should say you can only hike if you pay the $6 fee.
Great anytime hike! My daughter and I enjoyed it and yes, be alert for bikers..
