I would recommend doing the goldmine trail instead of this one! They’re at the same trailhead but the beginning of this one is very flat and boring! Even at the top the views weren’t too impressive.

Dynamite Horse Trail was a nice hike with lots of runners, hikers and mountain bikers. I went with my little dog (16lbs) and my medium dog (46lbs) and they both did well. There were a few steep areas that got our blood pumping so we will definitely go again!
