Make sure to follow the trail as you easily cross paths with others and can get confused. I did see some people take a short cut, which is great if you want a shorter hike. A few bikers on the trail and not too crowded for 6/7 am. There’s a spot halfway through the trail with stairs for rest/ other workouts. Overall, everyone keeps their distance, it’s pretty easy, and kid friendly.

Showed up at 5:45am and was pretty well populated. But when I left about an hour later, the parking lot had doubled in cars. Very fun area to go for a jog, but man I had ZERO clue which trail I was on due to the lack of markings and intertwining trails. Ended up staying later than expected due to getting a little lost but I plan to come back and learn the trails on my own. Plenty of separate trails for mountain bikers which I thought was cool. The auditorium is pretty neat and works well if you’re trying to do stair/bleacher training. I recommend wearing sun protection in some way as the sun has no sympathy here.

I ended up shortening the trail by cutting across on a trail before the Buttes because of time. However, I really enjoyed this for an early morning quick hike and loved even more the ability to modify it and make it fit what I had time to do today. Not super busy but the people I saw all tried to give plenty of social distance.

Nice place to run, with many different trails. I can see this place satisfying a various number of different type of trail runners/joggers and enthusiasts. As well as some bikers and the hikers. “Great view from a top the middle of the rocks.”

This is a moderate hike IF you take some off shoots from the loop trail... otherwise it’s super tame. We made what we wanted out of it, took some uphill climbs, a little bouldering, etc. Looked like a great place for mountain biking... again you could make it as difficult or Easy as you wanted. Pretty simple to stay on the trail with the app.

The trail is very fun and kid friendly. We (mom and her two elementary age kiddos) climbed to the top of one of the buttes (there are several). At the top was a great view! The climb was pretty rocky, with loose rocks. It’s a little bit of a challenge to get up and down, but who doesn’t like a little challenge? The trail is good for going on a walk and breathing in fresh air.

Not a very exciting trail. Very easy. There is a lot of road noise and it’s right next to the golf course, as well as the airport and national guard, so it’s not a peaceful area. It’s nice to be able to get outside and off the pavement though. This would be good for kids or people who need easy terrain. There are lots of trails, official and otherwise, so it’s not clear if you are on the actual trail or not, but it’s all connected and the trails are all very visible so it would be difficult to get lost.

Very pleasant walk with nice views of the red rock Buttes as well as the Papago golf course. The trail is not very well marked so we ended up making up our own route including adding a bit of elevation. We spent about 1.5 hours of leisurely wandering the trails. Be aware there is no bathroom at the trailhead and very little privacy for a pit stop! Would recommend if you don’t have to drive too far- we enjoyed it more than we thought
