So so fun. Beautiful views, not too hard, and even ran into a desert tortoise in the middle of the trail. Will definitely be doing this again with my pup :)

This is a short hike that's worth the views at the top. There was a good amount of parking near the trailhead. The trail is easy to follow on the way to the top. The first mile was a steady uphill. The last half-mile was steep at times but you can see the summit and that makes it easier. The views at the peak are fantastic and worth the effort. Make sure to take some time for some photos.

Fun hike. First mile is pretty simple. Last bit gets steep with baby switch backs/zig zag. Amazing view at the top. Took me a little over 30 mins to get to the top.

I think this just became my new favorite nearby hike. It's a great length, the wildflowers were beautiful, and it's very well maintained. Plus, once you go over the first hill, most of the surrounding civilization is blocked from view. The view from the top is great. Very little shade, so bring water.

I really enjoyed this hike!! it was a well marked trail and fairly easy until the last stretch, which was a steep series of switchbacks. I went at sunset and thre view gettin the summit wad absolutely incredible!! it was an easy hike back as it got darker and there were still several people out when I got back to my car at 7pm.

Walked this trail at sunset and it was a very rewarding experience. The views at the top of Dixie mountain were great. Note that the trail is mostly in the shade at sunset time as the sun is on the opposite side of the mountains. As a result it was pitch dark on my way back.

Dog friendly trail that’s a nice family hike. It took us about an hour and a half to complete the loop with one of the summits. There is plenty of parking that opens at 5 am.

This trail has amazing views of other mountains and the valley. Beautiful plants and trees. I got so many amazing pictures with the sun in the background. Breathtaking! Make sure you go to the top of Dixie Summit, it’s about halfway through the trail, you just have to hike straight up to the top for another 10 min. It’s a beautiful site to see!

Nice hike for getting back in shape. The end takes some extra effort as it’s a little steeper but not bad. this come from someone who hasn’t exercised regularly in quite sometime. Went up with a 6year old and while she was a little uncomfortable she made it all the way. Currently if you don’t at sunrise it does get warm with limited shade just from the hills.
