Devil’s Kitchen is in the middle of the Soldier’s Pass Trail. It’s, perhaps a half mile after Trailhead. Short and easy hike. No one on trail, as I did go on a Thursday, when it opened. There are signs and a spot to read about this landmark. Beautiful.

Shorter hike for us as Shari ended up not feeling well. The cave was very cool though she didn’t go in. Picture of me in the cave window on computer.

We did this one on the way to Seven Sacred Pools. It’s a very easy trail. There were people of all ages at this spot. The sinkhole itself is massive. We hung out near the edges, but I overheard a tour guide in a Jeep say that the rocks on the sides are starting to get loose and fall, so don’t get TOO close. That’s the other thing, this trail is open to mountain bikers and Jeeps, so make sure to yield to those.

Nice and easy scenic jaunt. We took our parents during our Sedona trip and everyone enjoyed the flora, views and photo opportunities.

To get to Devils Kitchen you take Soldiers Pass Trail. It is a giant hole. You can’t miss it.

Enjoyable easy trail up to the sinkhole and back. Really good vista from the trail. Short but we'll worth the drive up to the trailhead from Sedona.

Great hike. Don't miss the seven pools toward the beginning. Hikes to the end of Soldiers Pass but missed the end. Ending up on Brins Mesa looping back to Soldiers Pass. Muddy on that loop and very easy to get lost. Alltrails was the only thing that kept us in the right direction. Very lightly trafficked trails that got us back to Soldiers Pass.

Worth doing to see the sinkhole. The trail is part of a interconnected, and well marked trail system and you can go much longer than the 0.4 miles .
