I come to this trail specifically for running because it's away from the touristy trail (Telegraph Pass) and there are some hilly parts to make the run more interesting.
Nice trail for those just getting into mountain biking or for those that want a long stroll.
A very simple trail. There is a regular change between slight inclines and declines with the occasional gulch to keep things interesting. The path is easy to follow and runs between South Mountain and the neighborhoods just south of it. At 6:30 in the morning I passed a dozen of hikers and even more mountain bikers, so expect it to be crowded. Overall, I'd say this trail is nice for an easy run or bike ride, but is often busy and lacks many of the beautiful views that are common with the other nearby trails.
