Rather flat and easy trail for a good start to your day. I added the secret loop to the trail for additional distance.

Nice hike; watch out for the bicycles, most riders give no warning that they are approaching. Not a big problem, but you must stay aware of when they are coming up behind you.

Loved the trail, and the ironic name, all things considered. Lots of bikes on this loop, and it is definitely heavily trafficked, even early am. If you have a fur baby that doesn’t do too well with making several stops or having people/bikes pass close, it may not be the best option. Great views, great length, and an easy walk for our pup. Will definitely be back.

Not much shade and you feel like you are in someone’s back yard when you get close to the houses. Much better places to hike up north in the McDowells with more appealing scenery. Definitely more of a mountain biking trail.

Beautiful trail! Enjoyed a sunset there and loved the geological features. Shared trail with mountain bikers. Saw lots of wildflowers. Also a couple hummingbirds and butterflies. Cacti about to bloom. Heard coyotes in the distance as we wrapped up the trail after sundown. Very fun. Not difficult. Got off the loop a bit. Thankful for all trails app(:

Great views, no major inclines. We walked the loop, but there were a few bikers (nice trail for that purpose). We saw a lot Anna's hummingbirds and gambel's quail (so cool).

Nice easy going trail. Would definitely go again and would even go farther out into other trails. The only lame part was the bikers, couldn’t just put headphones in because I had to listen for them behind me. Other than that I would recommend

nice easy trail, quite a bit of nice scenery. If you're hiking be prepared for lots of mountain bikes.
