Nice trail and pretty views. Lots of little branch offs where people have started the trail from the road so make sure you’re paying attention and staying on the actual trail. The road to get to the trail head has a lot of large potholes, even in my small suv I had to navigate carefully so be mindful if you’re in a car. Lots of gnats and small flying bugs, wished I would have wore bug spray.

An easy morning hike. The southern section - Jordan Trail - is a fairly standard trail without much of interest. Not much elevation change or any special views. The northern section - Cibola Pass - is more interesting in terms of terrain, elevation changes, and views. It's an enjoyable hike and parts of it could be considered lightly challenging

I parked at the Jordan Road lot and took Jordan out to Soldier to find the caves. Trails were pretty well marked and if I had any confusion at all, the AllTrails map was extremely helpful. After leaving the caves I went back the same way, but veered off to Cibola rather than taking Jordan all the way back to the lot. Cibola offered some pretty decent views! I feel the combination of trails offered a variety of things. The Soldier caves were awesome, and it’s always cool to see the Devil’s Kitchen Sinkhole. Seven Sacred Pools are fun to hit, but I’ve never caught them fresh after rainfall, so they aren’t incredibly scenic, just a cool landmark. The goal for the day was to find the caves, and that made the hike worth every mile, but everything else was beautiful as well!

Good trail! Well marked. Not heavily trafficked, but might be due to current covid 19. Lots of pockets of shade from the trees. Beautiful views for photos. We did this hike with our 11 yrs old Jack Russell. He had no problem climbing the few sections of rocks towards the end. Be sure to bring a lot of water and stop a few times to take in the scenery.

Jordan Trail Trailhead is superior to Soldiers Pass TH as it has open parking with no gates that open at 8 am. like Soldiers Pass TH. This trail leads to Cibola and Soldiers Pass Trail, Teacup, Brins Mesa. You can see all the sights without the worry of parking. It is a lovely hike! And you don't have to worry about parking at and walking from Posse Ground Park all the way to Soldier's Pass. This is in a quiet neighborhood and sound travels easily so try to keep that in mind. I give the seven pools a low rating because it's just hype from the Chamber of Commerce. Very unimpressive.

Trail was pretty. I gave it 4 stars because it was easy not really moderate. We took a little pug with us and he did great! Parking is $5 if you start at Jordan trail, also seems to be more parking available compared to soldiers pass.

We did this trail with a group with ages 18 months(in a backback) 4 years old, 30s, and 60s. Some areas were a little tricky for the toddler and 60 years old because of the steepness or slipperiness. Great trail over all with nice views.

Great easy trail with beautiful views! A few up and down hills to get your heart rate up a bit, but they aren’t too bad!

Great hike. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It is a little rocky and hard at points. I got a little lost at one point on the trail. Make sure to pay close attention because some points are not marked well. Definitely recommend this hike!

I paused at points of interest, including devils kitchen and the seven pools. I ended up walking past the cave so i did a loop around back up the mountain to reach it. So glad my husband was with me to help me get in the cave. Theres probably a 4 foot climb to get into the cave. Great views all around!

Beautiful day. This trail is predominately easy. Some step ups. Well maintained and marked well for the majority. Some mountain bikers to contend with on Jordan, but Cibola is closed to all except hikers. Good family hike. Enjoy.

Overall a good hike. It is marked as easy, but with all the rain and mud I would rate as moderate right now. Id recommend poles or extra traction on your shoes if you are knew to hiking. The trail is well marked most of the way.

Beautiful views and the trail is very clear. Gloppy red mud after the snow/rain but still okay in tenny rompers if you don’t mind a little mud on them.

Great hike with lots of fairly easy opportunities to explore off the trail. The trail intersected with several others along the way also. We saw desert lizards and cactus blooms all along the way. Plenty of shady areas staggered along the way as well.

Nice trail with shade. We took this over to the Jordan trail and then up soldier’s pass to the seven sacred pools.

Nice easy Sedona hike. Some steps but nothing too stressful. Came on Sunday afternoon and only saw a couple other groups.
