Super easy most of the way: my 3 year old did it herself the whole way. No shade but very well maintained trail with nice views.

Nice alternative to the east approach to summit Sunrise. Lowland stretch of the trail is a little mundane.

I would definitely recommend this trail. It's short and sweet and a nice little challenge. Great views, family and dog friendly.

Great short hike! There is parts that are definitely not easy, more moderate. I wouldn’t say kid friendly unless they’re older kids! Not too busy on a week day, not totally empty either! Beautiful growth after all the rain we’ve been having!

Did this yesterday. Nice hike. Has amazing views. Has an interesting feature in the middle of the trail with some really cool looking lava rocks. I wouldn’t say it was an easy trail. I would say more moderate or a little more difficult than that. There are times when you have to use a walking stick, and it’s a little bit of a climb. Not too many people, but not desolate either.
