I enjoyed this hike. I wouldn’t call it moderate in difficulty except for the rocky nature of the hike. I’d go again if I lived closer but it wasn’t a hike that I’d travel from the east valley to do again.

We like to hike this trail during the week before 3:00...weekends can get crowded, especially parking.
Today when we hiked this trail, we only had to pick up 2 plastic bottles, so pretty clean considering there shouldn't be any littering.
Great trail for a good workout...easy/moderate- a little over 3.5 miles... watch your footing- loose rock... Happy Hiking!

OK trail with some elevation, but not enough to get a serious cardio workout. Lots of loose rubble which makes for slippery footing at times. I like to hike this loop, then walk across the picnic area and hike the Sunrise, Coachwhip, Ridgeline Trail. Restrooms and water on site.

Great workout with some elevation. Love the flag at the summit. A lot of loose rock with was a bit challenging but nice trail. Will definitely do again.

great afternoon walk.
LOVE the flag at the summit.
Great to sit under the flag and enjoy a bottle of water.
It's classified as moderate to difficult
don't think I'd go that far.
I personally would say easy to low moderate.
There are loose rocks so wear sturdy shoes.

Very leisurely trail, not necessarily moderate difficulty.

I would rate this one more on the difficult side than moderate. PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOGS PEOPLE and don't leave the little blue baggies on the trail!

Nice hike, easier side of moderate with some elevation. Distance that can be extended onto other trails easily. Area and park in general are nice with a decent amount of parking options at no fee. Overall rocky trail. Not the slippery small ones, but the ones that are just big enough to be able to turn an ankle and make your feet hurt a little. Worth noting, but nothing that should deter you. Wear comfortable shoes. Took dogs and they did well, no cholla issues. I always get a bit nervous about their pads putting them on that rocky of trail but we went slow and steady and they did fine.

Good distance, good trail to get the heart rate up. Loose rock, so watch your footing. As always, take plenty of water. About 4.3 miles. Some stairs.

Fun to go if you have your kids or pets. Extremely easy and not challenging, but that works sometimes!

Fun trail. Isn't too busy early in the AM on the weekends.

Nice trail, watch your ankles. A lot of loose rocks. This is perfect for all skill levels. You can run it, take a pack or just for a nice walk. Right now in March it's green with blooming flowers and great views. A little busy with the great weather till it gets hotter then hardly anyone on the trail.
